THE DAME REVIEWS :

I'm a crafts person.  Rather, I'm a needlewoman.  I love to knit and crochet, so this book was right up my alley.  It's every crocheter's dream!  The pictures are brilliant, colorful and clear, and the instructions are impeccable.  This is a perfect book to add to your library.

"Connect the Shapes Crochet Motifs: Creative Techniques for Joining Motifs of all Shapes" is more that just a book on joining motifs.  There is much about the basics of crochet, learning how to read charts and bringing beginners into a better understanding of crocheting.  From the beginning stitches to more complex ones, Edie Eckman knows how to build upon your skills.

There are opportunities to create complicated patterns from small and relatively easy motifs, connecting more distinct patterns into those complicated motifs.  And Edie shows how to do this with small, beautifully captured pictures, easy instructions, and clearly written details.

This book is truly a bible for crocheters.  The patterns are simply stunning.  It's a book I want for my own collection and I highly recommend it.
