We accept ARCs and books from recognized publishers. We do not read ebooks as a rule but you can try us for the exception in mobi format.
Note: Some self-published books are accepted; however, they are strictly previewed prior to acceptance for review. And, there are no guarantees a book by a self-published author will end in a review.
Likes: General fiction, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, YA novels, dystopian/post apocalyptic, urban fantasy, memoirs, classically inspired novels or mock-ups, mystery/suspense/thrillers, period pieces such as: Roaring 20's, the 40's..etc..., specific location pieces: Paris for example. We are eclectic.
No Not Review: Poetry or poetic verse, hardcore sexually explict novels.
We love books and do all we can to promote our authors and their books for the good of our readers. Our choices of the books we read and write about reflect our careful selection. We won't review every book for that reason...only the best and brightest get posted here! Which is why you'll rarely find low marks for books. :]
We welcome all inquiries! Never know when that pearl is found amongst the oysters and we're always open to finding it!!
FTC Disclaimer: We would like to state that amongst the books we review on my blog many are sent to us gratis by publishers and authors. We received no compensation for writing reviews and all of them are our honest and personal opinions.
